After a 20+ year career in the performing arts, Missy industry jumped from the creative to the analytical by getting her MBA and taking a job at Landplan Engineering. The many hats of her current career include proposal writing and creating responding documentation and presentations enabling Landplan to seek work from private and public clients. She establishes the image for the company through design of all marketing materials, signs, website, ads, social media sites, and any other tangible and digital representations of Landplan Engineering. Additionally, she handles all HR functions for the company across both Kansas and Texas including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, evaluation, termination, various training, administration of insurance benefit plans (health, vision, dental, life, disability, 401k etc.), and employee conflict/resolution. She is a Certified Professional for the Society for Human Resource Management, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Jayhawk Chapter of SHRM as Chapter President.
