Landplan Engineering was retained by the developer as the lead planner, civil engineer and landscape architect for the project. The project is a gated community consisting of 132 upscale multi-family residential units on 12.6 acres in Shawnee, Kansas. Landplan prepared preliminary and final site development plans that were reviewed and approved by the City Planning Commission. The plans incorporated sound planning principals that met or exceeded the City’s requirements for land use, accessibility, stormwater management, landscaping and buffering, and erosion control. Landplan also provided final engineering and inspection services for the sitework (grading, retaining walls, paving and landscaping), sanitary sewers, storm sewers and water mains.
