Wherever humans live, work, and play, the sanitary sewer systems ultimately must lead to a wastewater treatment facility. These range from septic systems for individual homes, to small scale treatment facilities (lagoon systems or newer micro-treatment package units) for developments, to multi-stage wastewater treatment plants for cities and even regional authorities. A chain of differing treatment functions is used to remove pollutants and make the effluent safe for return to local waterways.
Landplan Engineering provides a spectrum of services addressing evaluation of treatment options, master planning of treatment plant locations and development phases, design of treatment facilities, and detailed surveying services necessary for operation and continued expansion on large treatment sites. As do most in wastewater treatment engineering, the firm keeps abreast of improvements in treatment technology and regulatory requirements. However, due to the nature of Landplan’s client base, Landplan Engineering also maintains a unique focus on small scale treatment options for developments and smaller communities.
