Kansas University Wayfinding System

This project is one of the first University of Kansas Landscape Master Plan implementation projects. Working with a signage system subconsultant, Landplan was retained by the University to produce a functional, modern and sophisticated alternative to the existing signage program that supports the wayfinding initiatives identified in the Landscape Master Plan. The Landplan team is responsible for developing wayfinding system principles and guidelines, matrices and maps, and preliminary design standards. An “exterior graphics manual” describing manufacturing specifications and systems requirements will provide KU with the information necessary to implement the Wayfinding Program.
